My name is Miss Maya. I am from a Himalayan country called Nepal and have been living in this beautiful city for the past 16 years. It has become my beloved home.
It’s my first year at St. Patrick’s School. I am looking forward to having lots of fun with my students. As a teacher, I believe in creating an environment where students feel comfortable to learn and make mistakes. I also feel that children are a blessing as they bring fresh ideas, joy, and curiosity. It’s an honour for me to be part of their learning journey.
I love meeting new people, exploring new places and challenging myself. Here’s a picture of me on top of Q1 Tower in Australia. I was scared at first but I really wanted to see the view from the top so I kept going and did it! I hope to inspire the same enthusiasm, courage and determination in my students. I am from Ireland and St. Patrick is a hero in my country. This is my second-year teaching in St. Patrick’s school. I look forward to teaching the P2 and P3 students. I will miss teaching the old P3 students but you can still talk to me when you see me.
I like drawing, photography and playing computer games. Most of all I like having fun. My goal is to help the students to become better at English and to have fun in the English lessons. I love talking to the students so please talk to me.
